It wasn’t the best timing for Amazon to release Amazon One in the middle of a pandemic. This new way to pay at Amazon Go stores required customers to place their palm down to be scanned like a personalized signature. The issue, as you can imagine, was people avoiding contact with frequently touched surfaces. This influenced Amazon to change their approach a little and release a new “contactless” Amazon One scanner. The latest update allows users to hover their hands over the device without touching the scanner. Safari’s SSL Certificate Validity Update
On September 1st, Safari rolled out a new time limit for SSL validation. Safari will now only trust SSL/TLS certificates with a validity span of 398 days. This time frame is equivalent to a year with extra days added on to qualify as a grace period for you to renew your SSL validation. Do ads really have the power to convert new consumers? According to this recent study, the answer is yes. The platform DoubleVerify reported that 44% of consumers will try a new brand after seeing a relevant ad. Studies also found that while the younger demographic prefers seeing ads on social media, the older demographic still prefers the old school TV ads.
